In this week's episode of Love & Hip Hop Miami, we saw Trina honored with her very own day in Miami. A living legend with 20 years of being the "baddest b-tch" in hip-hop under her belt, we're surprised that every day isn't Trina Day in Miami! This content no longer exists Trina was given her own day by Glitz & Girlpower, who decided to honor some key game changers from Miami. Trina is definitely a game changer.
Trina has paved the way for female artists. She shot to the top in 1998 when she collaborated with Trick Daddy on "Nann N-gga," and then went on to release her debut album Da Baddest Bitch and six more albums. The rapper has been nominated for countless awards including BET Awards, American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, and Soul Train Awards. The Diamond Princess has been shining bright for two decades and isn't dulling that shine anytime soon.
What does it mean for her to be the baddest? “The baddest chick is just a strong female that’s just determined and focused and she’s not going to take no for an answer.” Congratulations, Trina! You've paved the way for not only today's artists, but for young girls who look up to you as the baddest in the game. You deserve all of the days in all of the cities, but for now we'll settle for Miami until your world takeover. After Bobby Lytes and Trina's assistant get into it, Bobby demands that Trina have her team respect him.
