From heartbreak to high-definition hustle, Melody Shari is rewriting what resilience looks like. The entrepreneur, TV producer, and philanthropist known for lighting up screens on OWN’s Love & Marriage: Huntsville has done it again, only this time, she’s the producer, the CEO, and the main character in her own story.
After years in the public eye and a widely discussed divorce Melody stepped away from the cameras at the start of 2025. But instead of fading from the spotlight, she turned her pain into purpose, building one of the fastest-growing beauty brands in the South: Seventh Avenue Beauty.
“I’ve always been a woman of faith and focus,” Melody shares. “This season of my life is about peace, purpose, and power.”
The Beauty in Rebuilding
For Melody, success didn’t come by accident it came by alignment. A self-made multimillionaire by age 28, she has been mastering the art of the pivot long before it was a buzzword. When her previous ventures ended, she used that moment to reimagine what legacy really means.
Now, as the founder of a seven-figure brand, Melody’s vision is crystal clear: to help women on the go look good, feel good, and move boldly through every chapter of life.
“God has been training me for this since childhood,” she says. “My mom’s side of the family is full of entrepreneurs — farmers, business owners, creators. It’s in my DNA.”
That entrepreneurial spirit met its purpose when she created Seventh Avenue Beauty, a line of skin, bath, and hair products designed with real women in mind, the multitaskers, the mothers, the dreamers who don’t have time to slow down.
Rooted in Legacy, Powered by Purpose
Melody’s relationship with beauty began long before business meetings and product launches. As a child, she suffered from Pityriasis rosea, a skin condition that caused painful, inflamed breakouts. Her great-grandmother would mix home remedies natural oils, herbs, and ingredients to ease her skin.
“Those moments taught me the importance of caring for yourself naturally,” she recalls. “A lot of those ingredients inspired what we now use in Seventh Avenue Beauty.”
That foundation of care and authenticity has become her signature. In February, TikTok recognized Seventh Avenue Beauty as one of the top two Black-owned brands in Alabama. Shortly after, Melody made history breaking TikTok’s record for the longest shoppable livestream, with 1.6 million viewers tuning in for eight hours straight.
“That was a full-circle moment,” Melody says. “People weren’t just buying products they were connecting to the story behind them.”
Behind the success is a powerhouse team led by a Black female chemist with 19 years of experience ensuring every formula is crafted with science, soul, and cultural understanding.
“We’re not just selling beauty we’re building trust,” Melody emphasizes. “And trust is what keeps women coming back.”
The Glow That Can’t Be Dimmed
With four children, multiple companies, and a thriving fan base of nearly one million followers, Melody’s world moves fast but her glow remains unshaken.
“I want to be remembered as a strong, unmovable, unshakeable mompreneur who showed love and gave love while rebuilding an empire,” she declares.
Every bottle, every product, every sale is rooted in that same message: love heals, love empowers, love glows.
“Here at Seventh Avenue Beauty, that’s the culture,” Melody says. “When someone uses our products, I want them to experience love to feel it.”
From reality TV to real-world impact, Melody Shari has transformed pain into power and power into purpose redefining what it means to glow up from the inside out.
And if you ask what’s next, she doesn’t hesitate.
“Expansion. Collaboration. And continuing to show women that we can have it all on our own terms.”
Because for Melody, the glow isn’t just skin deep, it’s soul deep.
